Would You Care For Some Turkish Delight?

Ever since I was a small child, the one story to always capture my attention and launch my imagination into days of makebelieve was The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe." I was mesmerized by the story, the characters and of course the idea that if I walked far enough along the back of an ordinary wardrobe closet, I'd find another land of talking lions and evil witches. I was hooked.

And then when the animated film was shown on television, I was entranced further by the tale put to another person's interpretation, with cute British boys in the lead roles.

Now that the geniuses at WETA (same special effects team behind Lord of the Rings are finishing up the film adaptation of The Chronicles of Narnia I can't help but feel giddy. I was worried that they wouldn't be able to capture the magic and the creativity behind all these amazing creatures that filled the pages of one of my most beloved books, but after watching a few of the webdocs that have been posted, I am suddenly feeling confident that they can indeed pull it off.
